  • Driver: Theodore Becker, 79-year-old male from Almont

Narrative:

On December 27, 2024, at approximately 4:25 PM Central, a 2021 Jeep Gladiator operated by Theodore Becker, a 79-year-old male from Almont, was traveling southbound on Highway 31 near Mile Marker 89, approximately 5 miles south of Hannover. The vehicle departed the roadway, entering the east ditch, and struck a culvert. The impact caused the vehicle to become airborne over a body of water, subsequently landing on its driver’s side and coming to rest. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
