arsenio james of fargo has now been charged in connection to a nearly 50-mile long pursuit between rugby and devils lake last weekend james has been charged with four felonies of theft of property fleeing reckless endangerment and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle he was driving a stolen pickup out of minot he’s also facing misdemeanor charges of driving under suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia for background on this story here’s the play-by-play of that pursuit last saturday we had a nearly 50 mile long pursuit on this saturday afternoon that started east of rugby and ended in devils lake uh photos and video here from my news viewers in devil’s lake this from the highway patrol at 12 19 p.m this saturday highway patrols engaged in a pursuit of a stolen me motor vehicle the trooper attempted to stop arsenio james on u.s highway 2 11 miles east of rugby james fled eastbound on highway 2 for roughly 47 miles the motor vehicle was successfully spiked by the use of tire deflation devices on two separate occasions but james continued to flee the trooper ended the pursuit by performing a pursuit intervention technique causing the motor vehicle to enter the ditch james was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the lake region corrections center and as we said he’s now facing a long list of criminal charges i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me

  2. Police fail to understand that the owner of a stolen auto simply wants the car back unharmed. Police on the other hand simply want an arrest & don't care about the solen car. Since the owner has no control, they quite often get the car back totaled or in need of thousand of dollars in repairs. Police love their PITs!
