MOORHEAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Moorhead Police have confirmed that the victim of a murder that took place on Tuesday morning is 14-year-old Jaelyn Nicole Walker of Moorhead.
Officers discovered Jaelyn’s body near the Red River after she was reported missing on Monday evening.
The suspect, Isaac Arndt, who was known to Jaelyn, has been taken into custody in connection with her death.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are waiting for the final report from the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office before releasing the official cause of death.
Police believe this was an isolated incident between two individuals who knew each other, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
