UNION TOWNSHIP, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) – A head-on collision on Highway 44 near Milepost 64 in Houston County sent two Caledonia women to the Mayo Clinic Health System with non-life-threatening injuries on Saturday night, June 29, 2025, around 10:32 p.m.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2021 Buick Encore, driven by Anne Lee, 70, was heading northbound, while a 2018 Hyundai Elantra, driven by Kayla Rose Connor, 38, was going southbound when the vehicles collided near County Road 20.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and airbags deployed in each vehicle. Alcohol was confirmed to be involved for both drivers.
Agencies responding included the Houston County Sheriff’s Office and the Hokah Fire Department.
