Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident early this morning in Marshall County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Diane Timm Rud, (46) of Greenbush was attempting to turn northbound onto Highway 32 from an alley just north of milepost 126 when the three vehicles collided.

According to the report, a 2019 Hyundai Elantra driven by Richard Louis Ramirez, (18) of Crookston was southbound on Highway 32 at the time while Dustin Michael Johnson, (36) of Black Duck was northbound on Highway 32 in a 2001 Ford F250.

Rud, and Johnson were injured during the accident reported just after 12:30 Monday morning. They were taken to Sanford Thief River Falls and treated for injuries troopers at the scene described as non-life threatening.

Ramirez and a passenger in the Elantra, 18-year-old Marcella Casanova of Crookston suffered no apparent injury. All four were wearing seatbelts. Road conditions were listed as dry.

Alcohol was allegedly involved on the part of Rud.
