Two Injured in Rear-End Collision on I-29 Near Buxton

BUXTON, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – We now have more details regarding a late Sunday morning crash on Interstate 29, two miles north of Buxton, North Dakota. The incident occurred at 11:22 a.m., involving a Chevrolet and a Hyundai, both traveling northbound in the right lane. The Hyundai struck the rear of the Chevrolet, causing the Hyundai to come to rest on the right shoulder, facing north, while the Chevrolet ended up in the median, facing southwest.

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 29-year-old female from Grand Forks, and the passenger of the Hyundai, a 19-year-old female from Hope, North Dakota, were both transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks with injuries. The 24-year-old male driver of the Hyundai from Reynolds was uninjured. Seat belts were worn by all individuals involved. The crash remains under investigation, and possible charges may be pending.
