Two Injured After Vehicle Strikes House

Two people from Ottertail were injured when a vehicle struck a house Saturday in Otter Tail County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Wilford Timothy Nordholm, (73) was injured when the northbound 2013 Ford F150 he was driving “left the Highway entering the west ditch striking a tree, fence, and house” on Highway 108 in Rush Lake Township. Nordholm and a passenger, Mary Louise Nordholm, (71) were taken to Perham Hospital and treated for injuries troopers at the scene described as non-life threatening. Both were wearing seatbelts.

Road conditions were listed as dry. Officials say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.

No word if anyone was in the house at the time of the accident reported just after 9 am. No other injuries were reported.
