FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA – Two Fargo-area men, Daniel J. Dronen of Fargo and Kenneth Douglas Russ Jr. of West Fargo, are facing felony burglary charges and misdemeanor refusal to halt after being caught breaking into vehicles, according to court documents.
Burglary at Dakota Park Apartments
The incident occurred just after midnight on February 9th at the Dakota Park Apartments in Fargo. Police responded to reports of two suspects breaking into vehicles in an underground garage.
As officers arrived, the suspects ran:
- Dronen led police on a foot chase through Central Hospital across the street before being arrested.
- Russ was caught nearby after another foot pursuit.
Stolen Property & Charges
Investigators say the pair allegedly broke into employee vans in the garage and stole tools. Both Dronen and Russ now face:
- Felony burglary charges
- Misdemeanor refusal to halt
The case is now moving forward in the North Dakota court system, with both suspects set to face legal consequences for the break-in.
