Two Charged in Bemidji State University Burglary

Bemidji (trfnews.i234.me) — Two men have now been charged in connection with a burglary at Bemidji State University that occurred in late October.

According to Beltrami County District Court documents, Nolan T. Armogan of Rogers, Minnesota, and Kane P. Clements of Isanti, Minnesota, have both been charged with felony second-degree burglary of a school building. The incident took place around 11:00 p.m. on October 23rd inside Bangsburg Hall on the Bemidji State University campus.

Surveillance video reportedly shows the two suspects inside the building during the burglary. Police listed the stolen property as a $2,000 defibrillator, props, and portraits of former university presidents.

Investigators received a tip that led them to the suspects’ Bemidji residences, where officers recovered the stolen items. Both men were arrested and transported to the Beltrami County Jail. They have since been formally charged in court.

The case remains under review by prosecutors. University officials have not released additional comments as the investigation continues. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office and local law enforcement agencies assisted with evidence collection.
