Minneapolis, MN (trfnews.i234.me)—Two individuals were quickly arrested after a shooting incident in Minneapolis on Saturday at 12:36 PM.
According to preliminary reports, a man was inside an apartment with two known individuals during a suspected narcotics transaction when he was shot by one of them. The victim left the apartment and called 911.
Officers responded to the scene at the 2000 block of 21st Avenue South, but the suspects were no longer inside. Investigators gathered descriptions of the suspects and relayed the information to other officers. Shortly after, police located the two individuals boarding a bus miles away and arrested them without incident.
The victim, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was transported by EMS to Hennepin Healthcare Hospital for treatment.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara stated, “Gun violence has no place in our city, and we will relentlessly pursue those who commit violent crimes.”
