that escaped inmate in Wadena Minnesota is apparently still on the run on this Tuesday morning here’s the latest from the Sheriff’s Department on Monday at 2:44 p.m. a Ryan Paul Petro age 34 escaped from custody during the transition to a court appearance Petro has been in custody since September 28th for misdemeanor obstructing legal process disorderly conduct damage to property fleeing on foot and felony conditions of release first degree burglary law enforcement is still actively searching for petrol and is following up on all reported information and sightings an area on the north edge of Wadena was heavily searched by Wadena County k-9 unit Todd County drones State Patrol helicopter Otter Tail County drone and numerous law enforcement personnel due to a tip that Petro was observed in that area Petra was dressed in an orange shirt and pants and handcuffed at at the time of his escape Petro is considered dangerous he was last seen in the area of Colfax Avenue southeast please do not approach if located call 911 the Sheriff’s Department is also asking people to make sure to lock your vehicle and residents as well as any outbuildings and report any suspicious activity I’m Neil Berg reporting for i-news TV [Applause]
