Deborah Deanne Robinson, 42, Thief River Falls, was sentenced for a felony charge of issuance of a dishonored check.
She was granted a five-year stay of imposition. As a condition of that sentence, Robinson was ordered to complete a diagnostic assessment. She was ordered to not use or possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.
Robinson was ordered to provide a DNA sample. She was also ordered to pay $210 in fees and fines and $2,487.47 in restitution.
The charge stemmed from a Nov. 21, 2018, report to the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office regarding a dishonored check that had been presented at Cenex, according to the complaint. That check totaled $37.54. Later, the sheriff’s office received reports of other dishonored checks, including a $50.93 check at Erl’s Market, and two $500 checks to landlord Jon Lindquist.
The complaint indicated that Robinson hadn’t paid any money toward those checks as of April 3, 2019.
