Fifth-degree controlled substance crime, giving a false name to a peace officer, driving while impaired, and possession of drug paraphernalia

On March 31 at 6:40 p.m., police performed a traffic stop on Sixth Street East. Brianna Lynn Olson, 29, St. Hilaire, has charges pending for giving a false name to a peace officer, DWI, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of fifth-degree controlled substance crime. She was arrested.

A motorist reported that another vehicle almost clipped the motorist’s vehicle a couple of times and then passed the motorist at a high speed.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Highway 1 and Center Avenue North.

An officer soon located the vehicle on Sixth Street East and allegedly observed as Olson’s vehicle crossed the centerline. Olson allegedly possessed marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia with methamphetamine residue.
