Disorderly conduct

On Feb. 1 at 9:29 p.m., police received a report of a disturbance at an apartment building at 601 13th St. W. Amanda Lea Drury, 29, Thief River Falls, has been cited for disorderly conduct. Drury allegedly continuously slammed doors and was loud.

Theft

On Feb. 3 at 10:55 p.m., police received a report of an internal theft at Walmart. Tiffany Lynn Nelson, 37, Viking, has been cited for theft.

 

Fifth-degree assault

On Feb. 4 at 7:01 p.m., police received a report of an assault at 614 Davis Ave. N. Michaela Lee Rose Verbout, 22, Thief River Falls, has been cited for fifth-degree assault. She allegedly assaulted a Thief River Falls woman, who didn’t seek medical attention.

Accident

On Feb. 5 at 12:14 p.m., police received a report of an accident at the intersection of Annie Street and Tindolph Avenue. At the time, Karen M. Eeg of Thief River Falls was driving a 2016 Cadillac eastbound on Annie Street, and Jeffrey H. Halvorson of Thief River Falls was driving a 2018 Ram southbound on Tindolph Avenue. The report indicated that the vehicles collided in the intersection due to slippery conditions. No injuries were reported.

Accident and failure to yield

On Feb. 5 at 12:27 p.m., police received a report of an accident at the roundabout at Brooks Avenue and Third Street. At the time, Makenzie M. Wells of Thief River Falls was driving a 2018 GMC southbound on Brooks Avenue. According to the report, her car then struck a 1999 Chevy driven by Dayle R. Larson of Goodridge. Larson was driving westbound on Third Street. No injuries were reported. Wells has been cited for failure to yield.

Accident and duty to drive with due care

On Feb. 6 at 9:29 a.m., police received a report of an accident at the intersection of Main Avenue and Third Street. At the time, Shirley Ann Kompelien of Thief River Falls was driving a 2008 Ford southbound on Main Avenue. According to the report, she was unable to stop and her vehicle collided with a 2010 Kenworth driven by Andrew R. Clear of Bagley. Clear, who had the green light, was driving westbound on Third Street. No injuries were reported. Kompelien has been cited for duty to drive with due care.

Accident, failure to obey traffic control device and driving without a valid license

On Feb. 7 at 11:44 a.m., police received a report of an accident at the intersection of Third Street and LaBree Avenue. At the time, Roberto Santoya of Cornelius, Ore., was driving a 2006 Chevy westbound on Third Street. His vehicle then collided with a 2006 Ford driven by Gweneth L. Stengrim of Thief River Falls. Stengrim, who had the green light, was driving southbound on LaBree Avenue. No injuries were reported. Santoya has been cited for failure to obey a traffic control device and driving without a valid license.

Accident

On Feb. 6 at 10:23 p.m., police received a report of an accident at the intersection of Fifth Street and Horace Avenue. At the time, Adam Mahne of Thief River Falls was driving a 2005 Jeep northbound on Horace Avenue, and Mark P. Sullivan of Thief River Falls was driving a Volvo L150 westbound on Fifth Street. Mahne’s vehicle then struck the rear tire of the construction equipment. The report indicated that Mahne suffered a possible knee injury.

Accident and failure to yield

On Jan. 31 at 1:11 p.m., the sheriff’s office received a report of an accident at the intersection of 150th Avenue Northeast and 130th Street Northeast. At the time, Chelsey Rae Stanley of Thief River Falls was driving a 2014 Chevy Equinox southbound on 150th Avenue Northeast. According to the report, she failed to make a complete stop and then collided with a 2005 Ford Ranger driven by Thomas G. Halverson of East Grand Forks. Halverson was driving eastbound on 130th Street Northeast. No injuries were reported. Stanley has been cited for failure to yield.

Accident and failure to yield

On Feb. 3 at 1:10 p.m., police received a report of an accident at the intersection of Fourth Street and Knight Avenue. At the time, Robert Wayne Engen of Newfolden was driving a 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis eastbound on Fourth Street. He proceeded through the intersection, and his car was struck by a 2009 Chevy Impala driven by Cody R. Okeson of Thief River Falls. Okeson was traveling southbound on Knight Avenue. The report indicated that a yield sign was on Engen’s side of the intersection. No injuries were reported. Engen has been cited for failure to yield.
