Ricardo Martinez, 30, St. Paul, was sentenced to 19 months in prison stayed for five years.

The charge stemmed from the report of a theft July 22 at Ronnings, according to the complaint.

Martinez stole merchandise valued at a total of $2,180.67, according to the complaint.

He exited the store carrying bags of the merchandise and wearing some of it. He left his own shoes, socks, and hat at the store.
