Thief River Falls (trfnews.i234.me) –Â TRF News has learned of a minor accident reported at the Dairy Queen in Thief River Falls on September 3.
According to police, the incident happened at 5:07 p.m. when Derrick Jenson of Thief River Falls was driving a Ford Crown Victoria that was pulling a trailer through the restaurant’s drive-through lane. As he pulled forward, the trailer struck the building.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash. Authorities have not confirmed the extent of the damage to the Dairy Queen structure. Police did not indicate whether citations would be issued.
The accident highlights the challenges of navigating larger vehicles or trailers through drive-through lanes, which are often designed with tighter clearances. Business owners and drivers alike are encouraged to exercise caution in such areas to prevent property damage.
