Thief River Falls (trfnews.i234.me) — Police responded to a minor accident in Thief River Falls last week after a Transit bus struck a parked vehicle on Spruce Avenue South.

According to the police report, the incident occurred on September 18 at approximately 8:02 p.m. Gary Baker of Grand Forks, North Dakota, was driving the bus, which is owned by Rumors Sports Bar, Grill & Casino. While traveling along the 300 block of Spruce Avenue South, the bus struck a parked 2014 Ford Fusion.

The parked vehicle is owned by Rylee Manning of Thief River Falls. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported in connection with the crash. Both vehicles sustained damage, though the extent was not specified in the report.

Police did not indicate whether any citations were issued in the incident. Officers cleared the scene after confirming there were no immediate hazards. The bus is operated as a courtesy shuttle for Rumors Sports Bar, Grill & Casino, which provides transportation for patrons.

Although this accident did not result in injuries, authorities remind drivers to remain alert when navigating city streets, especially in areas with parked vehicles. More information about Minnesota’s traffic and safety laws can be found at the Minnesota Statutes 169.
