Beltrami County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – Breaking news out of Bemidji, Minnesota, where firefighters were called to a trailer home fire east of town on Tuesday afternoon. The blaze was reported at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Beaver Road Northeast.
Emergency dispatchers reported a structure fire at 13217 Beaver Road Northeast. Multiple units responded to the scene to battle the flames. By around 5:30 p.m., video from the site showed firefighters inside the trailer home after the fire had been brought under control.
Authorities have not yet released details about possible injuries or the cause of the fire. Witnesses in the area reported seeing heavy smoke as fire crews arrived. The fire drew multiple emergency vehicles as responders worked quickly to contain the situation.
Investigators are expected to review the scene to determine what started the blaze. Trailer home fires can spread quickly, and officials remind residents to keep fire alarms working and to have an evacuation plan.
