Narrative: On June 5, 2024, at approximately 12:45 AM CST, a Chevy Silverado was traveling northeast in a gravel lot and attempted to cross the train tracks. The Silverado became stuck on the railroad near the intersection of Colton Avenue and Railway Street North in Burlington, ND. A Canadian Pacific train traveling southeast struck the driver’s side of the Silverado. The driver was pronounced deceased on the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
