Narrative:
On June 26th, 2024, at approximately 9:29 PM, Douglas Neve, 33, was riding a 2016 Indian Motorcycle southbound in the 3400 block of Sheyenne Street South in West Fargo. While traveling in lane one, the motorcycle struck and drove over the median curb, entering the grassy median. It then sideswiped a light pole, causing the motorcycle to overturn. Neve was thrown from the bike and sustained serious life-threatening injuries. Both Neve and the motorcycle came to rest in lane two of southbound Sheyenne Street.
Neve was transported by ambulance to Sanford Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on June 30th. This crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
