Ogema Township, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) – A devastating head-on collision in Pine County claimed the life of a Mora, MN man after he crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming truck.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred on February 22 at 4:39 p.m. on Highway 48 at Wilderness Road, Mile Marker 19.
Crash Details:
Joseph Donald Peacock, 40, of Mora, MN, was driving a 2015 Buick Lacrosse westbound when he crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a 2013 Ford F-150 traveling eastbound.
Impact & Consequences:
Peacock was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed on impact. Authorities confirmed alcohol was involved in his driving. The driver of the Ford F-150, 62-year-old Lori Ann Shoberg of Chisago City, MN, survived with non-life-threatening injuries. Shoberg was wearing a seatbelt and did not have alcohol in her system.

Pine County Sheriff’s Office, Fire Department, Essentia Health Ambulance, and Danbury Fire Department responded to the crash site.
