Becker Township, Sherburne County (trfnews.i234.me) — In a tragic incident on March 10, 2025, a motorcycle rider lost his life after colliding with a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado on Highway 10 in Sherburne County. The incident occurred at 11:18 p.m. when the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop the motorcycle for a traffic violation. The rider, 18-year-old Deke Alexander Ward of Big Lake, crashed into the eastbound Silverado driven by 75-year-old Douglas Raymond Laramore of Minneapolis.
Despite attempts to stop the rider, the motorcycle collided with the Silverado, leading to fatal injuries for Ward.
