Tragic Discovery: Missing Boy Found Drowned in Redwood River

MARSHALL, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Authorities in southwest Minnesota are investigating the apparent drowning of a young boy in Marshall. Police received a call about a missing child late Wednesday afternoon. About 35 minutes later, search crews found the unresponsive four-year-old boy in the Redwood River. Emergency responders administered life-saving measures at the scene and in the ambulance, but the boy was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the official cause of death, but officials say foul play is not suspected.
