GOODHUE COUNTY, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) – On Wednesday morning at around 8 a.m., tragedy struck in Randolph, Minnesota, as 17-year-old Tayven Matthew Geiger lost his life in a rollover crash. The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota State Patrol promptly responded to the crash on Highway 56.
The vehicle, traveling northbound, left the road, entered the right ditch, and rolled over, resulting in the ejection of the driver. Unfortunately, Tayven Matthew Geiger was identified as the victim.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that road conditions were icy at the time of the crash. It was noted that Geiger was not wearing a seat belt, and alcohol is not suspected to be a factor.
In the aftermath of this tragic incident, the community came together to create a memorial at the crash site in remembrance of Tayven Matthew Geiger.
