BECKER COUNTY, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) — A fatal accident occurred in Becker County when 74-year-old Mathew Mess from Frazee tragically lost his life after rolling his vehicle and hitting a power pole. The incident happened on County Highway 56, just west of 400th Avenue near Little Toad Lake. According to the sheriff’s office, Mess’s vehicle veered off the road into a ditch before the crash. He was the sole occupant and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detroit Lakes and Frazee Fire Departments, along with Frazee Rescue, Essentia-St. Mary’s EMS, and the Wild Rice Power Company, responded to the accident.
