Tragic Boating Incident Claims Lives on Leech Lake, MN

LEECH LAKE, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A Pirez, Minnesota man has died in a boating accident on Leech Lake, Minnesota.
a 68 year old man from perez minnesota has died following a friday boating accident on a leech lake listen from cass county sheriff tom burch uh that on friday at 2 50 p.m they received a report of a water emergency near the sucker bay area of leech lake deputies and responders arrived on the scene and learned that two adult males had been in a boat off the sucker bay landing when the victim a male age 68 of perez minnesota was working on the boat’s drain plug and had fallen out of the boat into the water the other male on the boat jumped into the water and was able to float with the victim and the vote and the boat to shore where life-saving efforts were attempted but were unsuccessful the incident remains under investigation and an autopsy is pending with the ramsey county medical examiner’s office assisting at the scene where the leech lake tribal police department and leech lake ambulance and sanford airmed i’m neil carlson reporting for eye news dot tv
