Did you know? Pedestrian fatalities remain a significant concern in traffic safety. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in 2021, there were 6,516 pedestrian deaths in the United States, accounting for 17% of all traffic fatalities that year. This underscores the critical need for both drivers and pedestrians to exercise heightened caution, particularly in areas lacking pedestrian infrastructure.
