ROCHESTER, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A 23-year-old man tragically lost his life on Saturday night after being struck by a train car in Rochester. Rochester Police responded to the incident around 10:45 p.m. near the intersection of Civic Center Drive NW and 1st Avenue NW. Eyewitnesses reported that the man was hit by a passing boxcar after getting too close. Identified as a local resident, the victim was rushed to Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s Hospital but sadly succumbed to his injuries.
