Tower, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) — On Thursday evening, a UPS delivery truck was engulfed in flames in downtown Tower, Minnesota. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Main Street, near Zup’s Food Market.

Fire crews from Tower, Cook, Breitung Township, and Eagles Nest responded to the scene, with Ely Ambulance Service providing medical standby. The fire, which destroyed the UPS truck, also caused damage to a nearby SUV. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Witnesses reported seeing heavy smoke and flames emanating from the vehicle’s cab.
