Tour of Flooded Emerado, ND Following 10.5 Inches of Rain

EMERADO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A look at flood conditions in Emerado, North Dakota west of Grand Forks, after 10.5-inches of rain fell in that area.
Neil Berg now in emerado about 15 miles west of Grand Forks down the road from our Villa just at the base you across the highway I’ve got a report de 10 and a half inches of rain you got a homeowner here soju and wind up a little water in your basement yeah just a little bit up actually it’s my parents place and yeah they ended up at the bought a foot of water in the basement unfortunately okay what do you live in town – I live in Grand Forks okay what time did this hit you know I believe it was approximately between 8 and 10 o’clock last night I guess it rained for about two hours steady non-stop okay so lots of water all over unfortunately is there many time any houses in town you think got it or um from what I understand about a third of them actually have sewer backup unfortunately as well yeah and it is the problem here also the railroad tracks in town just kind of back it up before it can drain out of town that and as well as just anything that’s coming from the West and moving this way down the ditch unfortunately as well so all right thanks for talking to me thank you for much all right we’re in emerado north dakota now about 15 miles west of Grand Forks now this is on the south end I’m gonna walk down the way you look at what’s going water just rolling through the yard – again as you heard from the homeowner a couple blocks away around ten and a half inches of rain in this area it’s got a mess out here in emerado again as well fifty miles west of Grand Forks water slowly draining out of town he’ll back a bit but it’s on its way out there but not before making a pretty goodness in emerado north Dakota Neil Berg reporting for I news TV

  1. I have no doubt if they have no flood insurance they will be fine. Because in North Dakota they will help each other. Thats what the great state produces great people.

  2. My friends basement got flooded with sewage water up to about 2 ½ feet on the day this happened, they are currently staying at their grandma's till they can get someone to fix it
