Clearwater County (trfnews.i234.me) — Another DWI arrest has been made in northern Minnesota. Joshua Tollefson, a 41-year-old male, was arrested on March 22, 2025, at approximately 11:27 a.m., charged under Minnesota Statute 169A.20.1(5) for Operating a Motor Vehicle with an Alcohol Concentration of 0.08 or More Within 2 Hours.

Authorities say the arrest occurred during a routine traffic stop after signs of impairment were observed. Tollefson was processed and held pending further legal proceedings. This charge is a common but serious offense under Minnesota law and can lead to hefty fines, license suspension, and even jail time for repeat violations.

Stay tuned for updates as this case develops.

In Minnesota, a BAC of 0.08 or higher is grounds for DWI charges, even without erratic driving. Refusing a breath test can also lead to enhanced penalties.
