Threatening Call To Bemidji 911 Center

BEMIDJI, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A Bemidji, Minnesota man is facing a felony charge, after allegedly making a threatening call to the 911 center.

David Joe Villier Sr., a 56-year-old resident of Bemidji, has been charged with felony harassment for allegedly making threatening calls to a Dispatch Center. According to court documents, Villier repeatedly called the Beltrami County Dispatch Center on June 3rd, asking why officers were looking for him and using profanity towards the dispatcher. At one point, he allegedly made a threat, saying “UF with me and I F back harder.” When asked if it was a threat, he replied, “No, it’s a promise.” All calls to the Dispatch Center are recorded, leading to Villier’s arrest and charge. This is Villier’s third harassment charge in 10 years.
