Thief River Falls man has been charged with second-degree DWI

Thief River Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – On May 4 at 5:21 a.m., law enforcement reportedly observed an occupied vehicle at Hartz Park. Tylar Housker Williamson, 26, from Thief River Falls, has been charged with second-degree DWI and was subsequently arrested. Williamson allegedly displayed signs of impairment, with the officer noting that the vehicle had been observed traveling about 45 minutes to an hour earlier. At that time, Williamson parked the vehicle upon seeing the officer. He claimed the vehicle had been parked at the park all night, and he had gone to check on it. The officer discovered the vehicle’s hood was warm to the touch. Williamson’s Blood Alcohol Content level was measured at 0.18. Additionally, he had a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years in Red Lake County.
