Theft Incident at Walmart: Jay Daniel Bruski Cited

Thief River Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – On March 15 at 10:10 a.m., police received a report of a theft at Walmart. Jay Daniel Bruski, 30, of Thief River Falls, was cited for theft – specifically for finding and appropriating lost property and for theft with the intent to permanently deprive another of their property. According to the citation, a customer reported that she had forgotten $60 in the cash dispenser after using the cash-back option at a self-checkout lane. Bruski, who was using the lane next to her, allegedly took the money. Surveillance video depicted the theft. Bruski claimed the amount was actually $80 and returned the money to a police officer.
