Temporary Closure of Visitation at ND Penitentiary Due to Increase in Prison Rape Incidents

BISMARCK, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Visitation will temporarily close at the North Dakota Pen in Bismarck this coming week for a prison rape survey.
the North Dakota State penitentiary in Bismarck will have a temporary closure under the prison rape elimination act this from the State Penitentiary a visitation will be canceled August 22nd through the 24th and return to normal on the evening of the 25th the reason for this cancellation is that this area of facility will be utilized for a mandated large-scale survey where the resident population will be selected at random to participate in the survey and data collection under the prison rape elimination act be conducted each year the Bureau of Justice statistics has been completing these surveys the purpose of the survey is to produce data that can help facilities prevent detect and respond to instances of sexual victimization our state the North Dakota State Penitentiary was selected at random to participate in this year’s survey again uh visitation canceled August 22nd through the 24th year in Bismarck I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
