Teen Passenger Injured in Highway 55 Crash in Buffalo, Wright County | trfnews.i234.me

Buffalo, Wright County (trfnews.i234.me) – A two-vehicle crash involving a teen driver resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to a teenage passenger early Tuesday morning, June 10, 2025.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2011 Kia Sorrento was traveling eastbound on Highway 55 when it collided with a westbound 2016 Ford Fusion in the westbound lanes near County Road 34. The Kia was driven by a 16-year-old male who was uninjured and wearing a seatbelt.

The passenger in the Kia, identified as 16-year-old Aangel Ellanore Kingbird of Buffalo, MN, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Buffalo Hospital.

The driver of the Ford Fusion, 24-year-old Garret Joseph Mcclellan of Maple Lake, was also uninjured. All involved were wearing seatbelts, and alcohol was not a factor.

Allina Ambulance responded to the crash. The road was dry at the time of the incident.
