Park Rapids, Hubbard County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — On Monday, May 26, 2025, at approximately 1:39 p.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 34 near County Road 4 in Park Rapids. A 16-year-old driver from Park Rapids, operating a 2008 Ford Focus westbound, attempted a U-turn and collided with an eastbound 2000 Lincoln Continental driven by 82-year-old Arvid Edward Prickett, also of Park Rapids.
The teen driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids. Prickett and his passenger, 80-year-old Marlous Jean Prickett, were uninjured. All occupants were wearing seat belts, and no airbags were deployed in either vehicle.
Road conditions were dry at the time of the incident. Responding agencies included the Park Rapids Police Department, Park Rapids Fire Department, and North Ambulance.
