Koochiching County (trfnews.i234.me) — On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at approximately 6:25 PM, a single-vehicle rollover accident occurred on Highway 6 near Caldwell Road in South Koochiching Unorganized Territory, Minnesota. The incident involved a 2015 Subaru Forester driven by 16-year-old Ryder James Gaddie of Cohasset, MN.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the Subaru was traveling southbound on Highway 6 when it veered off the roadway and rolled into the trees. Gaddie, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Bigfork Valley Hospital for treatment. No alcohol was involved in the crash.
Emergency responders from the Koochiching County Sheriff’s Department, Effie First Responder and Fire Department, and Big Fork Ambulance assisted at the scene. Road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the accident.
The Minnesota State Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
