Lakeside Township, Cottonwood County (trfnews.i234.me) – A teenage driver and his younger passenger were hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash Thursday at 7:10 p.m. on MN Highway 60 near 510th Avenue in Lakeside Township.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports that a 2010 Honda CR-V, driven by 17-year-old Porter Elliot Owen of St. Paul, left the wet roadway while traveling westbound and crashed. Owen sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Windom Hospital.

Also injured was 15-year-old passenger Cecilia Mae Owen, also of St. Paul, who was taken to the same hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Both were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not involved.
