Stanley Township, Lyon County (trfnews.i234.me) – Two men were injured in a head-on collision on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at 10:31 a.m. on County Road 9 near 330th Street, a MNTH 23 detour route.
Authorities say an 18-year-old driver, Landon Gabriel Teske of Cottonwood, MN, was traveling southbound in a 2012 Kia Forte when he collided with a 2018 GMC Sierra pickup, driven northbound by 23-year-old Jarret Michael Beebout of Marshall, MN.
Both vehicles’ airbags deployed, and both drivers were wearing seat belts. Emergency responders from Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Cottonwood Ambulance, and Fire Department arrived on the scene.
Both Teske and Beebout were transported to Marshall ER with non-life-threatening injuries. Road conditions were dry, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
The investigation is believed to be complete.
