Task Force Files Charges Related to Human Trafficking in St. Cloud, Minnesota

ST. CLOUD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Human trafficking arrests were made in St. Cloud, Minnesota, as part of an enforcement detail conducted by the Central Minnesota Human Trafficking Task Force from June 25th to 27th. The task force, assisted by the St. Cloud Police, Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, and Sartell Police, led a proactive operation in the area.

The enforcement resulted in eight arrests:

  • Seven individuals were arrested for gross misdemeanor crimes related to attempting to purchase sex.
  • One individual was arrested for felony-level electronic solicitation of a child.

All eight individuals were charged by the Stearns County Attorney’s Office and have appeared in court. There are also several active and ongoing investigations related to electronic solicitation of children, with additional arrests anticipated as these investigations continue.
