CASS COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) – A violent two-vehicle crash in Cass County, North Dakota, sent three Minnesotans to the hospital with serious injuries on Wednesday, June 25.

Authorities say the crash occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 26 and Highway 18, between Arthur and Hunter. A 2019 Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 74-year-old man from Beaver Creek, MN, failed to yield at the intersection and was struck by a northbound 2006 Kenworth gravel truck hauling a belly-dump trailer.

The 62-year-old truck driver from San Benito, TX, was not injured.

The Equinox driver was cited for failure to yield. Agencies responding included the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Cass County Sheriff’s Office, multiple fire departments, and ambulance services. The crash remains under investigation.
