FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – On Friday evening, Fargo police responded to a large-scale emergency call on the 1300 block of 12th Avenue South. The incident was later confirmed to be a “swatting” hoax—a fake 911 call designed to provoke a police response. Despite the significant police presence, no arrests or detentions have been made at this time.
The Fargo Police Department is continuing its investigation into the incident. Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses and if charges are filed against those responsible for the hoax.
