Fargo, ND (trfnews.i234.me)—In a collaborative effort between the Fargo Police Department and Red River Valley SWAT Metro Street’s Crime Unit, a high-risk arrest was successfully executed in Fargo on Wednesday morning. The operation took place at the 5900 block of 25th Street South following a search warrant for an individual identified as a suspect in an aggravated assault incident that occurred in December due to his criminal history.
Given the high-risk nature of the arrest, Red River Valley SWAT was called upon to ensure the safety of all parties involved during the apprehension process. The collective effort resulted in the arrest of Paul Pelaez, a 36-year-old Fargo resident. He is currently being held at Cass County Jail on charges of aggravated assault.
