Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) – A dramatic SWAT operation unfolded in Fargo on Saturday night as law enforcement arrested a wanted felon hiding inside an apartment.
At 6:02 p.m. on June 14, Fargo Police responded to a tip about a wanted individual at the 100 block of 12th Street South. Officers located 44-year-old Landar Moore of Moorhead, a man with past robbery and forgery convictions. He had an active Clay County warrant for probation violation.
When officers attempted contact, Moore fled into an apartment and barricaded himself inside, prompting a response from the Red River Valley SWAT Team.
By 9:53 p.m., a high-risk search warrant was served. SWAT used Flash Sound Diversionary Devices—creating intense bangs and blinding flashes—to gain entry. Moore was found inside and taken into custody at 10:19 p.m. without incident.
He now faces charges of criminal trespass, resisting arrest, preventing arrest, and refusal to halt. Moore was booked into the Clay County Jail.
