DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – A serious crash near Tolna, North Dakota, left one driver critically injured on Friday afternoon. Around 4:20 p.m., an SUV heading north on 100th Avenue NE veered across the centerline and into oncoming traffic, eventually vaulting off a driveway and crashing into a ditch.
The driver, 66-year-old Johnny Anderson of Walhalla, ND, sustained severe injuries and was transported by McVille Ambulance Service to CHI St. Alexius Health in Devils Lake. Authorities confirmed Anderson was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. Charges against the driver are pending as the North Dakota Highway Patrol continues its investigation.
