The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department in Minnesota is investigating possible kidnapping charges against 19-year-old Julio Claussen. Claussen was previously facing three felony counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct for allegedly having sex with underage girls in Hibbing. A female minor reported that Claussen had sex with girls between the ages of 14 and 16, lied about his age to convince them to have sex, offered them rides in his car, and pressured them into having sex. She also stated that he would try to get young girls high or drunk. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a report on July 10th of a possible kidnapping in progress involving Claussen. A witness reported seeing two females aged 12 and 14 being forced into a vehicle driven by Claussen at a park in Stephen, Minnesota. Claussen allegedly drove off at speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour to Warren and then south toward Crookston. When he was stopped by Polk County deputies, the girls were not in the car but were found walking back to Warren on Highway 75 unharmed. Charges are pending in the case.
