Richfield (trfnews.i234.me) – A 23-year-old woman is dead after a disturbing incident in Richfield, Minnesota. On December 13, 2025, at 3:12 a.m., Richfield Police received several emergency calls from residents of 7601 Knox Avenue South, reporting that a man was seen dragging a dead body out of an apartment and loading it into a vehicle.
Responding officers in the area saw the vehicle leaving the scene and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The driver failed to comply, and a brief pursuit ensued. The vehicle eventually stopped at the emergency room entrance of M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina.
Upon approaching the vehicle, officers found an unconscious adult female in the back seat suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts, the woman, identified as a 23-year-old, was pronounced dead from her injuries.
The adult male driver, who was taken into custody, has not yet been identified. The incident remains under investigation by Richfield Police.
