CASS COUNTY, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A homeless man, 30-year-old Dustin Powell, was arrested and is now in the Cass County Jail in Fargo following a high-speed pursuit on Sunday night. According to Sergeant Ski of the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the incident began at 9:40 p.m. when authorities attempted to stop a stolen Audi that had crossed into North Dakota on I-94 after being pursued by the Minnesota State Patrol.

Powell, the driver, fled westbound on I-94 at high speeds until he was forced to stop in a field approximately three miles northwest of Mapleton. He was arrested on multiple charges, including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, fleeing, aggravated reckless driving, and DUI refusal. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the incident.
