Red Lake County (trfnews.i234.me) — A freak accident during an early morning storm in Oklee, Minnesota, left two vehicles destroyed after a live power line fell and ignited them.

According to Red Lake County Sheriff Mitch Bernstein, the incident occurred early Sunday near the intersection of Second Avenue and Bordon Street in Oklee. The falling power line sparked fires in two vehicles parked nearby.

Oklee Fire and Oklee Ambulance responded to the scene along with law enforcement. No injuries were reported, but both vehicles sustained severe damage.

Power was knocked out across Oklee for roughly four hours before crews from Otter Tail Power restored service around 8 a.m. Sunday.
